Megan Greene, a member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), said in an interview with the Financial Times (FT) on Thursday that “the British service sector inflation rate is still much higher than that of the United States.

The market currently expects that the Bank of England will cut interest rates earlier than the Federal Reserve this year, and the rate cut will also be greater than that of the Federal Reserve.

In terms of indicators, rising inflation expectations have translated into improved wage growth.
