USD/CNH briefly rose yesterday to 7.2442 before falling to 7.2075 before closing at 7.2281 (-0.12%). There is currently no clear direction for the exchange rate. Today we expect the exchange rate to consolidate and trade between 7.2000-7.2400.
Next 1-3 weeks: Since last Wednesday (August 2, current price 7.1800), we believe that the exchange rate may temporarily trade between 7.1300/7.2450. Our view remains unchanged at present.
