New Dukascopy Platform Offers Over 25,000 Global Stock CFDs

by Anna

Swiss-regulated forex broker Dukascopy Bank has launched an expansive new Stock Trading Platform, offering traders access to more than 25,000 contracts for difference (CFDs) on stocks and ETFs from markets around the world. This platform is designed to complement Dukascopy’s existing JForex environment rather than replace it, and it is accessible through the JForex4 Desktop application via a separate trading interface.

The introduction of this platform significantly broadens equity market coverage compared to the current JForex system, which provides access to over 1,500 stocks and ETFs across 18 markets. The new Stock Trading Platform now supports trading in 20 markets, with ambitions to extend this reach to 87 markets in the future. This expansion offers retail traders a much wider range of trading instruments and opportunities.

There are important distinctions between the two platforms. The Stock Trading Platform permits only long positions without leverage (1:1), while JForex allows both long and short positions with leverage up to 1:10. Additionally, automated trading strategies that function on JForex are not compatible with the new platform. To avoid duplication, stocks and ETFs already available on JForex will not appear on the Stock Trading Platform.

Funding for trades on the new platform is handled through a dedicated sub-account within the JForex system. Clients can open a Stock CFD sub-account via their Client Cabinet and easily transfer funds from their main JForex account. All existing payment methods—including wire transfers, credit cards, Skrill, Neteller, and cryptocurrencies—continue to be supported for smooth funding operations.

By launching this platform, Dukascopy reinforces its position as a forex broker expanding equity CFD access for retail investors. The firm is responding to growing demand for diverse asset classes by providing an extensive array of instruments paired with a streamlined user experience.

This move aligns with a broader industry trend where forex brokers enhance their offerings beyond traditional currency pairs by integrating multi-asset platforms. Traders benefit from greater market variety and tailored environments that cater to different strategies and risk profiles.

Dukascopy’s initiative highlights ongoing innovation in forex broker technology focused on combining ease of use with comprehensive market reach. As competition intensifies, brokers are prioritizing versatile tools that empower traders with more choices and stronger portfolio management capabilities.
